Mr. Farokh Pandole
Founder and Portfolio Manager
Mr. Pandole graduated with Honors in
Economics from Harvard College in 1992. He gained an MBA in Finance from The
Wharton School in 1995. He is a former Junior National Squash Champion on
multiple occasions and has represented India.Mr. Pandole was Vice-President and
member of the core investment team at Alliance Capital Mutual Fund between
1995–2000, responsible for managing $250mn, including FII and MF assets. He
also assumed an Asian Coverage Research role and provided investment inputs
into Alliance-DLJ, a $100mn Private Equity Fund at the time.Mr. Pandole moved
to the sell-side, from 2000-09 at Citigroup Global Markets, where he was Head
of Indian Equity Distribution. Thereafter, Mr. Pandole was Director, Equity
Sales at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch until 2013.Most recently he was an
Equity Portfolio Manager at HDFC Life, generating substantial outperformance
over benchmark.
