With over 10 years of experience in wealth management in a multi-asset and family office framework, Mr. Saptarshi Das has got extensive expertise in crafting bespoke investment strategies tailored to the unique needs of High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), family offices and corporates.
With corpus exceeding more than Rs. 100 Crs, during his tenure at KGS Wealth Management, he managed investments spanning diverse asset classes and geographies. From managing long-term, investments to advising on corporate treasury management and capital projects, his role has been multifaceted and dynamic. He has conducted rigorous fundamental company analysis, engaged in company visits and management calls, and performed on-ground channel checks to ensure informed decision-making and portfolio optimization. Moreover, his responsibilities extended to providing corporate finance expertise, structuring PE/VC deals, and developing software architectures to enhance portfolio management efficiencies.
Prior to his tenure at KGS Wealth Management, he honed his analytical prowess and investment acumen during his tenure as an Investment Analyst at Octopus Investments in London, UK. There, he led analyses across various asset classes, managed substantial allocations to Asian markets, and played a pivotal role in the inception and management of a USD 75 Mn absolute return hedge fund. His contributions also extended to developing proprietary portfolio modelling algorithms and implementing cost-saving measures, underpinning the firm’s commitment to excellence and efficiency.
His specialized focus lies in optimizing investments within private equity markets, steering family office funds through strategic investment evaluations, and identifying promising investment opportunities across diverse sector.
