Gautam Trivedi is a Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Nepean Capital. He has over 26 years of experience in the Indian and Asian financial industry. In his last role, he was the CEO of Religare Capital Markets, one of India's leading domestic Investment Banks. There he pioneered 'The Great India Roadtrips' that conducted channel checks across in Tier 2 & 3 towns and villages.Before joining Religare, Gautam was a Managing Director and Head of Equity Distribution at Goldman Sachs India; he served on the board of Goldman Sachs India Private Limited. He moved to India from Goldman Sachs (Hong Kong) where he was an Executive Director in the Asian Equities team. Gautam spent 4 years in the Corporate Finance and M&A team at Reliance Industries Ltd, India's largest company by market cap. He has also worked at DSP Merrill Lynch, CLSA Asia and Jardine Fleming (Hong Kong).Gautam graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with an MBA and has a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce degrees from Mumbai University. He is also an Aspen Institute fellow and is the President of the USC Marshall Alumni Association of Mumbai. He sits on the boards of Collective Artist Networks, Extramarks Education India Pvt. Ltd., Landmark Cars Ltd., Maddock Films and UFO Moviez India Ltd. Gautam also sits on the India Advisory Board of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. He is an avid traveler and enjoys penning his experiences in travelogues.
